On the death of a member, a death grant is paid. This shall be € 500.00 but not more than three times the monthly old-age or occupational invalidity pension due to the member at the time of death. It doesn’t fall into the estate.

The death grant is to be awarded one by one:

• the spouse(s) or the registered partner(s),
• the children
